About Me
From Ballet to
Bulking

You might be asking yourself; “how did she go from Ballet to Bulking?” Well my friends to-be, I’ll bear all right here and for the first time, I’ll tell my story.
Attending a full-time ballet school from the age of 11 throughout my teens, my happiest days then were when I weighed in at 10kg under my normal weight. When my hip bones would be visible and show a concaved stomach. When I’d notice a gap between my thighs, yes, the “thigh gap” to remind me missing a meal “was good” and to “keep it up”.
My vision of a dream body back then would never stand a chance with my image and goals of today.
For that I am very grateful and thankful.
I succeeded in the art of ballet and had pride in the discipline, focus and strength I had developed, which I started to appreciate was beyond any level I had ever imagined. Not only in the art form of ballet but in every aspect of my life.

Not long after I finished ballet school,
I then experienced a life changing accident which broke my back in 2004 whilst horse riding.
It had dawned on me just how lucky I was to have this accident change my course of life.
Ballet as my practice helped build a very strong physique which withstood the great impact that could have sustained much greater long-term injuries. . Ballet, just like any other gym training, helped develop a very strong body limiting the damage that was predicted to take place after the immense impact my body was under due to the fall. Although it ended my dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer, my training post-accident and recovery defeated doctor’s future predictions of my inabilities and lack of physical well-being.
That’s when my new love, passion and fire began to take form when I decided to depict the image of health and power in a strong body.
This is when my journey began..

“How did a broken girl get back into ballet training and get stronger than ever before?”
A common question that was asked and lead to my first client! With that, the Personal Trainer within me came calling and it couldn’t be ignored.
Grateful for the dark moments in my life during my recovery, this encouraged my style of training to be based on mental coaching to help unleash my client’s full potential.
Going back to zero was not easy but it taught me a lot of patience and respect for the body’s will to get better if you listen to it.
From training myself back to great health and training friends and family, my client base rose from 4 clients to 72 in one year. This made me realise I had a full-time job on my hands, and it needed to be taken seriously.
From having a passion to a job that is my passion... Fabulous.
Clients love me and hate me at the same time but always understand why I am pushing them so much. Making your client believe they can do what you know is achievable is the hardest part of my job, as this is the key to future long lifestyle changes. With or without my 1-2-1 sessions I have permanently changed a life, and this is what I strive towards.
Ballet has driven my pain threshold to great heights than your average person and help increase a mental capacity which helps me cope with the intense workouts and challenges I set myself. This is what I want to pass on to my clients and teach my clients to do the same without the 17 years of gruelling ballet training.
You’re welcome!
What makes me stand out from the rest of other Personal Trainers, with all due respect, is my intense background of ballet training, just like military training, it has opened a new compartment I am able to utilise to make me succeed with difficulties majority would fail at.
Correct intensity + knowledge + time = results
(usually results never imagined)
Body Alignment, Posture Correction as well as mental coaching comes first before Lifting!
Listening to my clients the same way I listen to my own body is one of my strongest core values and treasure greatly. Learning my client's personal abilities and potentialities as well as knowing my own, has helped my client’s achieve every goal I have set them.
To understand your body can take years and with the experience I now have and the successes I have experienced with my clients as well as my own personal achievements, I am now able to pick up on the most subtle nuances to help excel your performance and progress in any training you wish or need to explore.
Personal Training chose me and for that I have found a sense of obligation to make the most out of my abilities and knowledge and through that passion help others become the best form of themselves mentally and physically
